- Care and maintenance
Handwoven in Northern India, the CHANTERELLE rug brings together durability, texture, and timeless design.
Its tight weave makes it ideal for high-traffic areas and strong enough to support the legs of tables or chairs. It’s not overly soft or loose, meaning it won’t catch, curl, or shed excessively — a practical choice for everyday living.
TECHNIQUE
CHANTERELLE is a Kilim rug — a thin, flat, tapestry-woven style known for its graphic look and dense structure. Crafted by weaving wool (the weft) tightly through vertical cotton threads (the warp), the result is a firm and flexible rug where the warp is barely visible.
MATERIALS
80% Indian wool (weft)
20% undyed cotton (warp)
All materials are 100% natural, meaning each CHANTERELLE rug will feature subtle variations in color and pattern — making every piece uniquely yours.
