London
London, a city of memories and inspiration
London has always held a special place in my heart. This city, once my own, marked the beginning of a dream — the dream of opening my own boutique. England, with its rich culture of independent shops and carefully curated products, sparked in me a fascination, an almost predestined feeling: one day, I would have my own space, a place that reflects me, where every object has a story to tell.
This trip to London was not simply a return to my roots, but a quest for inspiration, a need to rekindle the creative flame that has driven me for so many years. I wandered the streets, letting myself be carried by the energy of the city, exploring each neighborhood like a curious wanderer eager for discoveries.
Lose yourself to truly find yourself
From Covent Garden to Soho, from Chelsea to Marlborough, every street corner offered me a new perspective, a unique atmosphere where history and modernity blend with elegance.
The independent shops, with their strong identity and carefully curated selections, reminded me why I had dreamed so much of this world. There, everything seems thoughtfully designed, from the choice of materials to the smallest details of presentation. Each boutique tells a story, and every window display is an invitation to explore a unique universe.
But beyond this inspiration, I also took the time to savor the city, stopping at some of the iconic London retail locations — addresses that have shaped the history of commerce and continue to leave their mark on the world of shopping.
My Must-Sees by Neighborhood
SOHO & COVENT GARDEN
THE VIBRANT HEART OF LONDON
Soho and Covent Garden are lively neighborhoods where modern stores sit alongside historic shops and independent boutiques.
📍 Liberty London (1875) – A Must-Stop
No visit to London is complete without stopping by Liberty London, a true icon of retail and fashion. Founded in 1875, this legendary store has retained all its charm with its Tudor-style façade and warm interior. It offers a unique experience, showcasing carefully curated fashion, beauty, and home décor pieces.
Chelsea –
Elegance and Refinement
Chelsea is synonymous with chic and elegance. Here, you’ll find some of the most beautiful designer boutiques, cutting-edge concept stores, and refined cafés. It’s a neighborhood where the art of retail is taken to its highest level, blending tradition with innovation.
📍 The Conran Shop – Design & inspiration
If you love design, The Conran Shop is a must-visit. This iconic store offers a carefully curated selection of home décor, furniture, and contemporary accessories.
Its approach to design, blending minimalism with boldness, reminded me of the importance of detail in the customer experience.
📍 Soho House – Creative lifestyle essence
In the world of design and lifestyle, Soho House is an essential reference. This boutique hotel, known for its cozy atmosphere and exclusive vibe, goes beyond accommodation: it offers a comprehensive approach to interior design through its furniture and accessory collections available under the Soho Home brand. A perfect stop for lovers of sophisticated interiors and retro-modern inspiration.
Marlborough & Mayfair – Lux & tradition
These neighborhoods embody London’s prestige with their elegant boutiques and renowned department stores.
And then, of course, there were the flavors, the encounters, the stolen moments away from the daily bustle. A simple afternoon tea in a cozy lounge, a stroll along the Thames at sunset, a conversation with a shop owner passionate about their business… All of these moments reminded me why London had been the birthplace of my entrepreneurial dream.
A Journey and also a confirmation
