Rattan lamps
The entire production process of the rattan light fixtures is executed completely by hand and without the use of electricity or other fuels. The craftspeople manually cut the rattan lianas from the stem, using simple tools. The fibers are cleaned and naturally dried in the sun.
Then, the rattan is heated to become pliable, and subsequently handwoven by artisans in a workshop in Java, Indonesia.
